Moving home in Tier 4

Moving home in Tier 4

Following the news that London and the South East have now entered Tier 4, many of you may want to know how this affects your home move.

Following the news that London and the South East have now entered Tier 4, we wanted to write to you as many of you may want to know how this affects your home move. You may be wondering if you can continue to move home at all. The answer is simply, yes. The Government have made it clear that Estate Agents can continue to operate, albeit behind closed doors, viewings can go ahead (although we encourage you to use a virtual tour where possible) and removal companies are fully operational.

At John D Wood & Co., we have been practicing strict Covid-safe measures for over 6 months, and we can confidently assure you that our priority is the health and safety of our Clients, and employees. There is no risk worth taking, we have clear, well rehearsed guidelines on how we approach all aspects of our operation.

Our offices will remain open until Christmas Eve, reopening on 29th December. We know many of our Clients have scheduled to move home across the festive period, and we want you to know we are here to support you as usual.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Christmas, and despite the challenges we have all faced this year, all of us at John D Wood & Co. hope very much that you will be able to enjoy the festivities in these unusual circumstances.

Polly Ogden Duffy, Managing Director
